Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our SPC wall panel systems, including installation, wet-area use, fire rating options, maintenance, and collection differences. SPC stands for Stone Plastic Composite. SPC wall panels are rigid core panels engineered for durability, moisture resistance, and long-term performance. They provide the strength of flooring material on a vertical surface.
Our panels are 4mm thick in select collections, feature clean edge tongue and groove installation, offer realistic multi-pattern repeats, and are designed for one-person installation. Many competing panels are thinner, require router finishing, or have limited pattern variation.
Select collections are approved for showers and wet areas when sealant is applied to the tongue and groove system. Proper installation guidelines must be followed to ensure moisture protection.

8i Panels Plus installs faster than tile, requires no grout, and reduces long-term maintenance. Unlike tile, there are no grout lines to clean or repair.
Unlike paint, SPC wall panels do not require frequent repainting. They resist moisture, odors, and surface damage, making them ideal for rental units and high-traffic environments.
